Artwork description:

Based on some sketches I made on the beautiful Hebridean island of Staffa on the west coast of Scotland.

Each of these prints is hand made and there'll be some minor variation across the edition. This was cut from a single block of lino, printing the lightest colour first then cutting into the same block to print the next colour, and so on until the final darkest colour. This means that a cut can never be repeated and the small number of prints in each edition makes these works collectable.

This print includes a bit of watercolour to highlight the beaks and feet.

Materials used:

250g acid free paper, linseed ink, watercolour
