Original artwork description:

Whilst walking along the Jurassic coast between Lyme Regis and Charmouth I was presented with so many fantastic drawing opportunities . I simply had to stop and do some quick pencil sketches and make comprehensive colour notes to jog my memory concerning the brilliance of the sunlight on the water. My aim was to capture the play of light which is so fleeting in an oil painting.

On returning to the studio I worked on the composition and started to produce the final artwork. It certainly lifts one's mood to see the beauty of light in nature.

Intense Light is a framed original oil painting created and painted by myself. The back of the artwork is signed and you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity.
