Artwork description:

After all my years of wandering on beaches, I had never noticed this phenomena before. Seemingly prehistoric forest scenes etched into the sand left by the receding water. The recent severe trauma on the coast after the storms of late December 2013 may have something to do with it... many of the beaches seem to have an undulating, almost ploughed characteristic.

'Fossil Forest' is a Tripych (a series of 3) archival pigment prints each measuring 41cm x 28cm (image area 33 x 22cm) on fine art cotton rag, embossed with artist seal and numbered within a signed certificate of authenticity (note: the price is for the full set of three individual prints).
