Original artwork description:

This painting is part of a series called 'The cycles of life' , be it either of mother nature itself or of a person.

This is an original acrylic painting on canvas with few layers of paint. I've used different colours to obtain this effect which are orange, green and white. This painting shows a highly textured result and presents an almost 'damaged', 'weathered' effect which was my ultimate aim here. When painting, although I do follow an instinctive approach, I am always looking at the balance the paint creates within the space of the canvas and the balance created by the interaction of the colours. Abstract painting does not necessarily means random painting, a thought process is needed to achieve a final result.

The edges are painted so it can be hanged without a frame. However if one's wishes to frame this artwork, the canvas can be removed from the wooden frame, which is attached at the back with staples.

I have used Winsor Newton Acrylic Paints with varied tools mainly brushes here. Use of a UV Gloss Spray Varnish coating the painting to protect this art piece. Signed on the front and full name of the artist, the name of the painting and date are at the back of the painting.

Please note that I price my painting according to the size, the material used and the hours.

Each painting is carefully packed and padded for a safe delivery. Paintings shipped with tracking number.
