I am absolutely facinated by abandoned dwellings. Houses, barns, buildings...I always try to imgine them back in their prime. This is a house that I always pass on the way out of Door County heading back home to Illinois. I loved painting it, such a pretty setting for a home. I'm sure at one time there was plenty of life in it; cooking smells, voices, laughter. Now, it just seems lonely.

Forgotten is an 18X24" oil on canvas that will arrive with the sides painted white and ready to hang as is or you may frame it, if that is your preference.
