These two seem to complete each other, fitting perfectly into the composition. Their stripes were painted in a beautiful shade - Daniel Smith's Lunar Blue; a colour that has a lovely granulating quality.You can see a speckled lighter blue peeping out of darker overtones in an unpredictable fashion. I have kept the background very light; it is just a faint glow of mixed colours offsetting the subject.
The painting has been done on Fabriano paper, using best quality Daniel Smith paints. I will send it unframed , rolled up in a sturdy postal tube.It will come with a signed certificate of authenticity.
Kindly note that due to light conditions, some variation of colour is possible in digital version
