Entitled: Forever. Sycamore Gap - A beautiful original piece by Jennifer Taylor

If you have followed my artwork for a while, you will know that I reside in the North East of England have painted this ancient place for many years. I had started this piece earlier in September, as you may know every Autumn I paint this place in golden autumn light. It was so saddening to hear about what happened. I honestly didn't believe it at first. I wasn't sure if I would finish this piece, but I am glad that I did. It makes for a beautiful reminder of this most magical place. I will always continue paint this place as it was, as it has always been such a huge inspiration. Here we find ourselves surrounded by autumn golden yellows, mustards, with flashes of red and pink. Set below a majestic, cloudy Northumberland sky. The piece arrives unframed, yet fits perfectly into an A1, or 59.4 x 84.1 cm frame of your choosing.

The paintings are created intuitively from imagination and memories. Each piece is a beautiful surprise at the end. Expressive marks, using an array of media, oil paints, inks and oil pastel form quickly on the surface, to bring the piece to life, capturing light and colour.
