Artwork description:

Neutral tones nature abstract giclée printed on exquisite fine art paper. Beautiful natural shades of ochre, cream and brown with touches of teal.

The ancient archipelago of Orkney is founded on history beyond time. The shores of Birsay, at the north end of Mainland Orkney (also an island) is a place of fascinating and ancient artefacts. Looking out to sea, the endless sea roams for untold miles. Nothing but water towards the north and yet this place was filled with people for thousands of years. Beneath your feet is an even more ancient population, captured in the rocks are the fossilised remains of small creatures and plants from thousands of years ago. Their colours resonate with life. They appear still to swim in an ocean of turquoise and ochre forever locked in a natural beauty that few notice as they pass by.

Each print is 20 x 30 inches plus a 2 inches white border. If hung with a 2 inches gap this would fill a space of 52 x 30 inches.

Also available at panel sizes 30 x 45 inches and 40 x 50 inches on request.
