This soft oil painting has a dreamlike atmosphere. It is semi-abstract in style, and invites the viewer to feel what it would be like to be in this landscape, walking down this forest path. The reddy brown tones of the woodland soil, with pools of sunlight, contrast with the delicate green trees, rising up, allowing glimpses of the blue sky through their branches. The eye is drawn towards the sunny yellow light, glowing through the trees in the distance.

This artwork was created using Michael Harding Professional Artists oil colours on a hand made Italian stretched linen canvas. The edges of the picture are painted white (please see additional photograph). It is signed and dated on the rear and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
