Forest View 6 is a stylised, contemporary study of silver birch trees. The painting focuses on contrast of colour and shapes. The main colours being warm oranges and cool blues. The trees show texture and contrasts of light and shade as the trees flow in to the background. Your eyes are drawn in to the view and around the trees.
This is painted in many layers of acrylic paint. Building the scene up this way gives depth and visual interest.
The sides are painted white. A good quality UV varnish has been added to preserve the painting. The work is ready to hang.
