Original artwork description:

'A Moment in Time' is a black and white triptych that is reminiscent of the works of Robert Motherwell and Pierre Soulages. The work was created to emphasize beauty in simplicity. I hesitated to make any adjustments once the initial composition began. This spontaneity can be seen in the close-up details. The work is gestural and free with minimal second pass adjustment. All three panels are signed only on the back allowing them to be installed in a variety of ways. Panels are 24" x 24" (2) and 24" x 12" with 1" in between to make 62" wide when hung.

The panels are ready to hang with wires attached and their sides are painted white for a clean aesthetic. Framing is not necessary unless desired (see in situ images for inspiration)

There is an additional 24" x 12" work (Part 4), painted at the same time, which can be added (see the in situ image with 4 panels)

Please note that the in situ images are for display purposes only and may not be exactly to scale.

Materials used:

Gesso and Acrylic paint
