Original artwork description:

I came across this secluded pond in a heavily wooded area. I liked the gnarled old tree contrasting with the bark of a younger one. The verticals of the bark relate to the hanging vines & their reflections, while the use of several shades of blue contrasts with the pale yellows in the sunlit areas.
