This artwork explores the idea that what is seen is illusionary, the other night looking out into the trees I could see things that were not there, the emotion this illusion created was one of awe and excitement. This work was painted in the style of abstract expressionism.

I like using acrylics as the colours blend so well together.

This work is painted on 12 oz gallery canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas is hand-stretched onto a frame is 198 cm in width by 91 cm in height. However, due to the very large size of this work the canvas has BEEN REMOVED FROM THE STRETCHER and once acquired you will need to REMOUNT IT. Your local framing shop will be able to do it for a reasonable fee, which would be much lower than prohibitive shipping fees. The artwork comes rolled up in a PVC tube. So FREE SHIPPING is provided to assist.

This work was created on the 3rd of August 2019.

In my paintings, I use the finest quality professional acrylic paints, gallery canvas. The painting was sprayed with a glaze of varnish.

A Certificate of Authenticity with hologram - verification is attached to the image.
