This watercolor picture depicts a bouquet of forest flowers that I gathered for my mom. Each branch, every flower here is a gift of nature, collected on a warm day, when the sun was breaking through the branches of trees, illuminating delicate petals and aromatic herbs.

I did not plan what flowers would enter the bouquet, it came from itself - from what happened, from what attracted my attention in its shape, color, light. It is this spontaneity and naturalness that is conveyed in painting technique - soft watercolor transitions, unexpected spills of paints that create the effect of lightness and ease.

The vase with a gentle glare adds to the work of completeness, it holds not just flowers, but the memory of the moment - about the warmth of the hands that collected them, about the love with which this bouquet was presented.
