This is one of the sculptures of the "Indifferents" series.
"Forced" speaks of apathy and indifference.
Individuals submerged by stimuli that they do not understand, dissociated from life and are profoundly indifferent.
Beings with stolen souls; immobilized and imprisoned. Without hope or passion, strength and spirit.

I chose to use this beautiful piece of marble because with its gray lines it was perfect for the figure I had in mind. I wanted the lines to become part of the sculpture, creating as an imperceptible fabric over the figure, lines that are often found even with the movement of water.

"Forced" is a sculpture in Calacatta marble of Carrara, one of the best materials for artistic pieces. This sculpture is lightened carefully to be easily hung on a wall.
