Original artwork description:
Painted with Oils on a Gesso printed panel, 'For Rivers...' is a response to an industrial building in the East of Stuttgart, Germany. Its age and grandness belie its origin and purpose, and through re-figuring it in paint I hope to have given it an emotional gravity, and at least a personal meaning. I was introduced to the building by its owner who attended my last solo exhibition in Germany. It has clean white sides and is ready to hang without further need for framing.
