A lovely day today but still windy, back in my old spot looking down the footpath towards the river Medway the fields of corn have been cut and my field is already sprouting what may again be rape seed plants. I am enchanted by the seed heads on the parsley plants down the footpath and the way the fading plants have been swept northwards in the winds. This painting took more a couple of hours on the spot and some more work back in the studio. Now framed in wood mounted on white MDF, ready to hang
