Original artwork description:

This still life painting was created with oil paints on a stretched linen canvas. It depicts a combination of studio studies and conceptual subjects, including a relief and an Asian tea kettle, with a Tit bird added for interest. The process of creating the painting involved researching the bird subject, and using clay modeling to study the effects of light and shadow.

This piece was awarded in the FASO 15% BoldBrush Competition for May 2021 and also May 2022. Also, was awarded "Special Recognition" in the Light Space & Time "All Women" Art Exhibition, January 2022
