This is an original oil painting of hounds picking up the scent, by Sarah Eden.

The image is a close up study of the lead hound as he follows the scent, the rest of the pack trailing eagerly behind. The lead hound has been focused in on in detail creating a depth of focus with the remainder of the pack in the background.

Sarah's work is much influenced by the countryside which surrounds her and her paintings often portray the animals that are so integral to country life in Wiltshire.

The painting is framed in a 2" painted cream scoop frame and is ready to hang with brass wire and D-rings.

Materials used:

6mm mdf triple primed with gesso
