The vibrant yellow green shoots of Spring vines in the wine country create a colorful pattern as they turn from brown to green and yellow. The rich oranges of our beloved California poppies compliment the palette. Inspired by the gorgeous Folktale Winery & Vineyards in the Carmel Valley, this piece features a rich palette of seasonal hues.

"Folktale" is an original oil painting on canvas, created in Lisa's signature deep impasto style. The thickly applied and large kinetic palette knife strokes create an explosion of movement and color, which sends the eye roving around the canvas.
