Artwork description:

This is a unique image, an artists proof, in water-based inks on Japanese paper, Bunkoshi Select. This was printed by hand in the Japanese method using a bamboo baron. I like to produce unique images rather than editions, and this is one of them.

Paper maker’s sticker and my signature are on the reverse. Because this may hang in any orientation, I did not sign the front, but can do if preferred.

I carved the wood block image from drawings of an umbrella plant
