Foggy Mountain is not a depiction of a specific place; it is rather an impression of the mountain of mountains as it emerges from the fog, imparting a feeling of tranquillity and dignified magnificence.

Foggy Mountain was hand-printed using a pre-war lithographic printing press a process that is more than 160 years old. Natural linseed-based inks were hand-mixed by the artist to arrive at this blue-green hue. Reminiscent of Japanese and Chinese landscape art, the unique use of subtle fingerprints not found in other works creates the textured fog effect, giving this piece a truly personal touch.
