Something cute and funny sometimes I see on my underpainting. Sometimes I need more time, sometimes less to see something which I really would like to show to my viewers. I would never paint anything bad, sad or violent. I am trying to focus on something very nice and happy, sometimes with humor, and if I don’t see it then I am re-doing my underpaintings from scratch and starting over again.

My paintings are mostly whimsical because I like everything unreal, and I know that they are created in my mind by seeing them on my canvas. This makes me feel like each painting is my own baby, and I always really hope that they will find a good next home forever

In my city were a lot of doves. Some people were building them a special houses on high legs so any street cat wouldn’t get them. I remember their nice crowing and sometimes it was too much and loud, but it felt like home in my childhood. This painting represents those times.
