Spring Flowers in a patterned jug. The brilliant pink underpainting is an integral part of this painting. I enjoy leaving parts of the underpainting visible, leaving gaps in the top layer showing how the painting is constructed. Layers, pattern, texture and colour create a striking acrylic painting on box canvas, ready to hang.
