"Flowers", watercolor on stretched canvas, 50X50 cm

Flowers are one of my favorite subjects.

This floral artwork is between drawing and painting, between abstract and figurative, as a contemporary piece of art inspired by French Impressionism and by modern abstraction. I've imagined the light that illuminate a bunch of roses, in a garden. It's a free and gestural evocation of the nature.

Technically, I've used a special white watercolor ground on the canvas. So it's possible to paint with watercolor directly on the canvas.

The painting is varnished, (very discreet satin varnish) it doesn't need glass frame to protect it, so it's ready to hang.

This one of a kind artwork will be delivered with an invoice and a signed certificate of authenticity.
