Sustainable artwork!
Collage made with only natural dyed and plant printed paper on burlap and plaster. It is finished with layers of beeswax ( encaustic).
I use flowers, leaves, berries and veggies and some rusted materials to get these rich and velvet looking colors and prints. The outcome is always a surprise. Nature can't be forced!
I gather most of them in my own garden and in my daily walks with my dog in my neighborhood.
After printing and dyeing these papers I move them around to make something completely new and unique.
Flowers & Bees is a serie of 22 small artworks. They can be hang solitary, displayed in a frame or mounted on a panel in a group.
