Original artwork description:

Recently, I decided to painted out two old paintings I had done, in order to paint something fresh!!! But rather than cover the entire former image, I left two portions still visible. Thesechad been parts of patterned tapestry chair covers, in the former painting.... These portions are now circular bulbs with flowers painted within....I love the fresh, Cheery result!!!! As I patterned the floor, I was after a more animated, whimsical way of building it, so I did not paint it in precise rows, but allowed it to become a bit "pell mell", much like the very old tiled floor in my French Apartment..... The sides of the canvas is painting, wrapping the image all the way around, so that it can easily be hung unframed...
