The first time I went to Northern India (Little Tibet) was in 1999. Here are towns such as Manali, Kullu, Dharamsala and Rishikesh, and the village of Naggar where N. Roerich lived and worked. I spent a total of about two months at the Roerichs’ estate, in Naggar and at the Rohtang Pass and made more than fifty sketches. These places are bewitching with their beauty and unusual positive aura. The air is pure and resonant, permeated with the aroma of spices and the songs of local residents.
The grandeur of the mountains is enchanting, like a bottomless ocean stretching into the distance, and snowy peaks roll into your soul.

This is a very powerful sight and feelings overwhelm your soul.
