Through my artwork, I want to transfer the joyful energies I perceived while painting outside, at the Coast of the Italian Riviera.
The painting has been created while I was confronting the flow of the Mediterranean Sea and enjoying the fascinating colors as well as the vibrant light of Liguria.
This expressive and at the same time very balanced painting celebrates the stimulating and transformative dynamic of the element of water in combination with the energy of the golden sunlight.
This artwork visualizes my encounter with the mediterranean sea, trying to capture its power by sensitizing my perception.
I feel the sea current inside my own emotional flow, its perpetual motion.
This leads me to question my concepts of identity and boundaries.
I see my watercolour paintings as scores inspired by the daily observation of the sea and its influence on me.
So I hope this artwork will inspire you, transporting its rebalancing energies of the sun, hope, energy flow and optimism!
