Like most of my paintings this is inspired by a landscape near my home where cows regularly pasture. This is my favorite scene to paint; the untouched nature along with the cows pasturing in peace - I think they have a very calming effect on the observer.

Painted on an acid-free cotton canvas with professional quality oil paints, ensuring the colors do not fade. Additionally protected with satin finish varnish which gives the painting an even subtle gloss.
