"Look oh look the banana budlia scent drifts across a cayenne sky as the blue branches point towards a celestial destiny". Set against a chipotle red meets cherry pink sky, the flowers and flora are celebrating the joy of their creation.

As I turned up my imagined palette, I became aware of how my past lived experiences in warmer climes such as Andalucia were being birthed onto the canvas.

A favourite of mine, I painted this summer series in celebration of the fiery passion of my heart aching for distant lands.
