“Flower Field” is 12” x 16” ( or 30 x 40 cm) oil painting on a stretched linen over 38mm pine wood stretcher bars.
This painting was done alla prima over 2 sessions. The refining stage was done while the paints were all wet.
Various tools were used to create different textures.
This painting was inspired by Australian wildflowers blooming in spring with sunlit green grass in between. It was painted in impressionistic style of painting with bold brushstrokes and markings. See the images above to view the details of the painting.
