Inspired by spring blooms here is a recent piece to add to my collection... My butterfly friendly take on the collectors butterfly specimen boxes: Hand cut from floral imagery and floating on little plinths. I adore the way they appear to flutter and move as the light changes. The touch of 24crt gold leaf on the antennae glistens and sparkles in the light and adds a precious touch to the piece. It comes fitted in a solid wooden black box frame.
