Original artwork description:

I sought to juxtapose the stillness of introspection with the relentless flow of time. The central figure is set against a rustic backdrop. Her flowing garment, stark and almost otherworldly, contrasts sharply with the environment, symbolizing the tension between the inner self and the outer world. This interplay captures the eternal struggle between our internal permanence and the external forces of change. Through the use of acrylics and deep black tones, I aimed to evoke a sense of timeless contemplation, drawing the viewer into a reflective state where they can consider the transient nature of existence and the delicate balance between stillness and movement in life. Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam and Italian canvas tm Unico were used. The finish is varnish, and the ends are painted. Part of the "Life in Avatar" series, it is created on a pre-stretched canvas on a wooden frame. The painting is packed in a cardboard box with bubble wrap. Signed and has a certificate.

Materials used:

acrylic paint
