For this painting I wanted to return to an idea that I had already used in sketches a few years ago, and it's cracks in the skin with flowers coming out of them. Something that keeps me motivated, especially in the darkest moments, is that I will always be able to learn something, and that nothing lasts forever. Something good can come out of everything bad, like flowers emerging between the cracks.
ART SUPPLIES:
I painted this piece with the lightfast premium watercolors Schmincke Horadam, Sennelier and QoR, on acid free, 100% cotton, hot-press 350gr watercolor paper by the brand Leyton. And, at the end, I sprayed this painting with a few layers of Krylon UV resistant coating for its optimal preservation.
