Painted on-site at the Iris Garden of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Features a full, ruffled iris flower of the variety named "Florentine Silk", which has bottom petals in shades of lavender and purple, top petals in shades of pale pink and cream, and shimmering lavender "beards". Exquisite. Gorgeous. Subtle color. Sublime.

The green background indicates the foliage of the garden, and contains an abundance of iris buds in various stages of opening. Painted in oil with iridescent oil on board.

Framed in a 1" wide wood frame with a light pink finish which accentuates the colors of the flower. May also be purchased unframed by request.
