Original artwork description:
The feeling that I am starting a new, with boundless possibilities, gives rise to a metaphor of flowers opening to the first light at sunrise. It is an exploration of abstractionism and painted in the style of neo-abstract expressionism.
I like using acrylics as the colours blend so well together. This work has glittery dried acrylic as well, one image shows, side on, the effect. It is designed to catch the light.
This work is painted on 12 oz gallery canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas is hand-stretched and will mount onto a frame is 200 cm in height by 95 cm in width. The work is NOT FRAMED to save money on shipping, it would be easily framed for USD$120-$160 at any framer, while the price of shipping framed would be twice that.
This work was created on 1st February 2019.
In my paintings, I use the finest quality professional Liquitex acrylic paints, gallery canvas. The painting was sprayed with a glaze of varnish.
A Certificate of Authenticity with hologram - verification is attached to the image.
