‘FLORAL PATHWAY’ is an acrylic painting 28x20 cms on 300gms canvas paper. It is presented in a white card mount 35x28cms. The painting can be transferred to a larger mount if preferred. Please see the pictures where the painting is shown in a glazed frame 56x45cms and can be purchased at an increased shipping cost, if preferred. ‘Floral Pathway’ is inspired by a familiar location and in keeping with similar paintings made at this time focuses on memory and imagination. It is not made in an order that can be understood as literal. It is about seeing and feeling. The poems of 18th century poet Thomas Gray bear relevance to the underlying ideas and intentions. The title of the painting is a signpost to the painting’s meaning.
