Floral Garden celebrates the abundance of flowers in a summer garden, I love the way flowers all get tangled up in the borders. I also like the way you get layers of flowers, of different heights, So this is a painting inspired by a corner of my own garden, that reflects this observation. I painted this sat in my garden, on a summers day.

This is painted on a 30 x 40 cm deep sided canvas. Thats about 12 x 16 ins. It is not a large painting, but it has a lot of detail in it. It is varnished with several layers of UV varnish to protect the surface. It comes ready to hang. The sides are painted Paynes Grey ( almost black) to enhance the look of the work from the side.
