Floral fantasy! I’ve used warm colours and balanced composition to create a piece that conveys the feeling of summer in full bloom. As I painted, I remembered the long, languid summer walks on a hot day. The breeze is gentle and warm; the sun's bright but melancholic, and the flowers are evocative, like a golden wash of sunshine. I hope you enjoy this painting as much as I enjoyed creating it!
