This is a fine art traditional oil painting of yellow, blue and pink flowers in a gold vase. It is painted with oils because I love to blend the colors to create new hues. In this painting, I contrasted the bright flowers with darker, muted colors to enhance the brighter colors. It is a painting of darks against lights. I framed it in a golden colored wooden frame that complemented the hues of the painting. It would enhance any traditional or contemporary room setting. I purchased fresh flowers and put them in the gold vase and I was inspired to paint it on canvas. The painting is special because of the harmonized color scheme.
