A very large canvas, standing 2 meters tall, dominates the space with its expansive bright pink backdrop. At the forefront, a larger-than-life marabou stork commands attention.

This bird, christened Flora Shaw, carries a name steeped in history. Flora Shaw was a British journalist who not only became the highest-paid female in her field, but also played a pivotal role as the wife of a British colonial administrator. Her legacy extends to naming Nigeria, a country where, ironically, marabou storks are viewed with less reverence. In Nigeria, these birds are known for their aggressive nature, their imposing presence, and their tendency to scavenge on human refuse.
