Original artwork description:
Boats at rest in a small port in Genoa Quinto (Italy). The boats are arranged in an arrow shape and appear to be in formation like a flock of birds. I wanted the boats to convey this life with the play of connected shadows and fusion of colors and shapes.
This watercolor was selected for Fabriano in Acquarello Festival 2023 and was exhibited in April 2023 at ex-sala Borsa in Piazza del Nettuno in Bologna and during the summer in Fabriano. The watercolor is on page 71 of the catalog of the Festival. The Fabriano Watercolor Festival is one of the most important watercolor festivals at an international level.
Watercolor on 100% cotton paper.
