A painting made from an
en plein air sketch from a few years ago.
It has a strange calm atmosphere with the solid wooden chalets almost floating in the cool snow covered slope. It was in the Les Gets region of the French Alps.
Drawn with charcoal and painted with layers of acrylic. I have also used drawn charcoal lines in certain areas on top of the paint too
