Original artwork description:

My inspiration for the Water Lily Series is a fascination of the beauty and tranquility provided by flowers floating and growing in water. Whether it be the dams and billabongs in Australia, the Lotus gardens of Asia or the giant, metres wide lily pads growing in the indoor conservatory at Kew Gardens in England. There is something very special in the association of these amazing plants which evoke- a feeling of peace and harmony. My aim has been to translate those feelings to canvas.

Materials used:

Artists quality oil paint on stretched canvas
