Watercolor and dry pigment painting on 100% cotton watercolor paper.
A memory brought back from my trip to the fascinating city of Venice in August 2021, where I took my friend with me on her first ever trip to Italy.

We wandered around the narrow streets and came across a pigment and art supplies store where I got the blue and indigo dark blue dry pigments I've always wanted to try. This artwork is made using those -mixed up with Arabic gum base. They are absolutely stunning, rich and vivid.
I used ink pen to bring more detail to the buildings and added a beautiful description of Venice by Samuel Rogers.
