A brief evening stroll on Dartmoor to watch the swaling from afar. The ponies gather in safety at the foot of the tor. As I stop to breathe in the view and ponder my own thoughts, I’m nudged back into the here and now by the friendly and inquisitive ponies of Pew Tor, happy to say “hi”. I love the quirky angle of this shot.
Textile art created using raw edge applique and free motion stitching with fine Italian threads and fabrics both old and new.
