"Flirt" is a contemporary, nature inspired mixed media piece I have classified as a drawing but has quite a few painterly qualities in terms of texture, heavy application of color and acrylic under painting. I'm just going to be candid, "Flirt" surprised me in the studio as it evolved...I actually did not mean for the work to turn out so rococo adorable and charming. I was working on a rather amped black and white Melodic Minor piece at the same time and you would think the feeling in the black and white work would carry over. Instead, the romantic suggestions in "Flirt" became undeniable. I let the work grow in the direction of...joyous tangled flora and fauna.

{+} Created with pastel, acrylic, pencils and chalk on 640gsm archival pH neutral warm white paper with left and right deckle edges / edges masked with a 1" border

{+} Will be carefully packaged including a pH neutral barrier to protect the surface

{+} Signature / date on the back, small signature on the front right corner and COA

{+} Fine layer of professional grade archival fixative applied to front of artwork to protect/inhibit UV rays
