This is the fourth in my series of Macaw paintings. This time I decided to depict the Macaw in flight, unlike my previous paintings that depict the Macaws perched. I've chosen a complex Amazonian rainforest as the ideal and natural habitat setting for the painting. The idea was to paint the Macaw with a certain amount of artistic license so that the bird pops out the painting.
Please note, the painting is painted on very heavyweight water colour paper,so will need to be framed behind glass so as to protect it from atmospheric grime.
