I wanted to create an atmospheric scene and therefore I chose a sunset over a field. This enabled me to use lots of rich colours, which were then picked up in the foreground and can be seen in the detail of the owl's feathers,
Painted around the sides to match the colours within the painting and therefore ready to hang.
